Artist's Comments
Here's Minna, the female protagonist of my new book idea. Minna is both a 16 1/2 year old human who lives in the human world. This is a picture of her as a dragon. She is able to transfigure into a wingless, feathered and furred dragon. She has the power to evoke her feathery and furry wings when she chooses to, but most of the time, she runs and does not use her wings.
Minna is part of the protagonists trio including Emnor and Derek (coming soon). I used pencil on 60 lb. paper. I used an ink pen to outline the drawing. Sorry for the bad lighting; I used a camera at 12:00 AM. This picture is a fraction of a reference sheet for Minna. I will upload the ref. sheets for Minna, Emnor, and Derek soon. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
